Ivy & Rory babies Born 2nd January 2026

  • New Born

    Eyes stay shut for 10–12 days. Newborns look similar—pink or light grey—but their skin tone shifts throughout the day. Since this is Rory’s first litter, a recessive C allele (sable or albino) inherited from his mum could affect the outcome.

  • New Born Tort with Vienna Marking

    Eyes: Closed

    Skin Colour: Warm orange glow & Pink indicating Vienna marked Sooty Fawn (Black Tort) or a Chocolate tort.

  • New Born BEW or Rew or Blue/Lilac Point.

    Eyes: Closed but could be blue or ruby glow.

    Skin colour: Pink all over indicating this baby will be White or develop light blue or lilac points.

  • New Born Tort/ Sable with Vienna Marking

    Eyes: Closed

    Skin Colour: Light grey & pink indicating either a Vienna marked Lilac/Blue Tort or Seal Point.

  • New Born Tort with Vienna Marking

    Eyes: Closed

    Skin colour: Similar to the first kit in colour warm Orange & Pink indicating a Vienna marked Sooty Fawn (Black Tort) or a Chocolate Tort.

  • One Week Old

    After just one week, their beautiful coats are starting to appear. At this stage the white kit is looking less likely to be some sort of seal point and more likely to be a BEW or REW. The other three kits all look fairly similar, just like their dad Rory who is a blue point. However, there are subtle differences in the depth of tort colour and the shade in the ears. The three torts could be Black, Chocolate, Blue or Lilac. It will take a few more weeks for their true colour to come out.

  • Chocolate or Black Tort with ViennaMArking

    Eyes: Closed

    Fur colour: When comparing the three torts this one has the most vibrant orange colour with dark ears. I’m leaning more towards chocolate but it could change as the dark ears etc comes through.

  • BEW or REW

    Eyes: Closed but could be blue or red.

    Fur colour: Its looking very white and im not seeing any tip colours so more likely to be a REW or BEW and not pointed.

  • Lilac or Blue Tort with Vienna Marking

    Eyes: Closed

    Fur Colour: This is the lightest of the torts with the least contrast between the tort colour and the grey ears. This kit is closest to Rory at this age who turned out to be Blue. This could be either a blue or lilac tort.

  • Sooty Fawn (Black) or Blue Tort with Vienna Marking

    Eyes: Closed

    Fur Colour: This kit has the darkest points with the most contrast. Its looking more Sooty Fawn or blue

  • Two Week Old

    By two weeks, most kits have their eyes fully open and eagerly begin jumping out of the nest. They start practicing their hopping skills and gradually exploring their surroundings for short periods of time. With each passing day, they grow stronger and their unique personalities begin to shine through more clearly.

  • Chocolate Tort with Vienna Marking

    Eyes: Dark

    Fur colour: A lovely vibrant orange colour with contrasting white Vienna Markings. They have a lovely thick fluffy coat like dad.

    Ears: In between stage sometimes up, sometimes down.

  • REW (Ruby Eyed White)

    Eyes: Ruby - Which means Rory took the albino gene and not the sable gene from his mum.

    Fur colour: Pure White

    Ears: In between stage sometimes up, sometimes down

  • Lilac or Blue Tort with Vienna Marking

    Eyes: Dark

    Fur colour: The lightest of the torts, I’m leaning towards Lilac rather than blue but its made more difficult with the white Vienna Marking covering the areas that would be darker.

    Ears: In between stage, sometimes up and sometimes down

  • Sooty Fawn (Black) or Blue Tort

    Eyes: Dark

    Fur Colour: The darkest tort with the most contrast. As the Lilac/Blue tort it is difficult to name the final colour due to key areas being white

    Ears: 1 ear flopped and 1 nearly flopped
